1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser to remember information between pages or visits—for example, what’s in your cart or whether you’ve already accepted the cookie notice.
2. How to give or withdraw your consent
The first time you visit, we show you a notice so you can accept, reject, or configure non-essential cookies. Until you accept, only the technical cookies essential for the store to work are used.
You can change your mind at any time by deleting paintuber.es cookies in your browser settings. The next time you visit, the notice will ask you again. You can also block cookies in your browser, although this may prevent parts of the store (such as the cart or checkout) from working.
3. Which cookies we use
| Type | Who sets it | Purpose | Does it require your consent? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Technical and operational | Shopify (our store platform) | Maintain your cart, login, and checkout process, and remember your cookie choices. | No: they are essential. |
| Analytics | Shopify, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity | Find out how many people visit the website, which pages they view, and where they encounter difficulties so we can improve it. Clarity may anonymously record how visitors navigate the site. | Yes. |
| Advertising and campaign measurement | Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, Pinterest | Measure whether our ads are effective and show you PaintUber ads on these platforms. | Yes. |
| Email and personalization | Klaviyo | Recognize you if you have subscribed and, for example, send you a reminder if you leave an order unfinished. | Yes. |
| Reviews | Judge.me | Display and collect product reviews. | Only those that are not essential to displaying them. |
Each provider determines how long its cookies last: technical cookies usually last for the duration of your visit or up to a year; analytics and advertising cookies last from a few days to two years.
4. Transfers outside the EU
Some of these providers (Shopify, Google, Meta, Microsoft, Pinterest, and Klaviyo) may process data outside the European Economic Area. They do so with the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. You can consult their policies on their websites.
5. More information
The processing of your personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy. If you have any questions about this policy, email us at shop@paintuber.es.
